David Beckham: We Assumed We Were Having a Boy

International soccer star David Beckham has revealed he and wife Victoria Beckham initially thought they were having a boy, but got some big news when they found out that their fourth child was going to be their first girl!

The 35-year-old told KIIS FM radio host Ryan Seacrest that he and Posh are both elated about the news - but hadn't expected it after doctors told them to expect another son.

Becks told Seacrest, "It’s something we obviously hoped for, but obviously when you have a baby, [the biggest concern is] it’s healthy and everything’s good with the mom. But when you have three boys, you just kind of assume you’re going to have another one."

The LA Galaxy hunk also talked about his future in soccer in light of his Galaxy contract having a quickly approaching expiration date. He told, "I haven’t thought about what I’m going to do - whether or not I’m going to continue to play, which I think I will because I think I can still play at the top level. David says the whole family is excited about Victoria's pregnancy.

David Beckham says pregnant wife Victoria is doing “great”.

The soccer star – who already has three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz with the fashion designer – says his 36-year-old spouse is loving every minute of her fourth pregnancy and the family can’t wait to meet their new addition this summer.

Speaking during a visit to Los Angeles Children's Hospital, he said: “She's great, she's very healthy. She's feeling good. She's in London at the moment working.

“We're very excited. It's an exciting time for the family.”

While Victoria has previously insisted she didn’t know the sex of her unborn baby, it has been claimed she is expecting a much longed-for daughter and good friend Eva Longoria is planning a pink-themed baby shower at exclusive Los Angeles haunt, the Chateau Marmont Hotel.

A source said: “They know the sex of their baby, which is helpful for Eva – she plans to fill the suite with balloons, and rumour has it that they will be pink, not blue.”

While David and Victoria have made no secret of their desire to have a daughter, their three sons have other ideas and are keen for a boy to join their clan.

Victoria has said: "I can go on the record and say, contrary to rumours, I do not know the sex of my baby. We feel so lucky and so blessed.

"We know what to do with a boy. The kids are excited about having a little brother to teach how to play soccer... But, if it's a girl, we'd be over the moon as well."

Father of three – soon to be four – David Beckham was back in action today as he hit the field for his first training session of the season with the L.A. Galaxy.

I hope David Beckham already put in for some vacation days to attend the Royal Wedding. Haha. I do wonder if there’s any truth to the rumor about the Beckhams moving back to England. I haven’t heard any confirmations or denials that he’s trying to get out of his Galaxy contract to do so.

Oh boy! Remember when David Beckham got angry about some cheating allegations and SUED In Touch Magazine? Well, the magazine has decided to fight back and filed papers with the court claiming that they stand behind their allegations.

David Beckham has been having an affair with a “Los Angeles-based lingerie saleswoman and would secretly meet her at the Figueroa Hotel near Staples Center after LA Lakers basketball games” – or so they say.


Radar Online has obtained the court papers (somehow) and summed up some of its main points:

• the worker showed off several text messages from Beckham
• David was seen waiting in the lobby at the Sunset Towers Hotel one night “speaking anxiously on the phone” before leaving with a “pretty young blonde woman”.
• * At least three sets of independent sources — including “an acquaintance of Beckham” — detailed his strange behavior at two different hotels, at which he “appeared to be spending time with women who were not his wife”.
• * Beckham’s nanny saw “suggestive text messages” implying that he had an affair with Shery Shabani, the Beverly Hill mother whose children go to the same posh private school as Beckham’s three boys.

Yikes! Victoria Beckham might KNOW one of the women that David slept with? This is assuming of course that In Touch is right. It just can’t be -after all, David and Victoria are soul mates.
According to a friend, David Beckham isn’t worried about this new move.

“He is not backing down, he plans to go full throttle in this matter and this posturing, with no evidence and no facts, isn’t going to stall the inevitable.”

Of the "talk," David confessed to "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" this morning (October 27), “It was more Victoria than me. I had to walk out of the room. Because Brooklyn’s looking at me at the corner of his eye, kind of laughing. It was a serious talk and I had to get out!”

As for Brooklyn’s Halloween costume- he’s going as his dad. "He's literally gonna wear an L.A. Galaxy shirt and shorts. He's ready for that now. He's quite comfortable in soccer gear!" (Hollywood Gossip)

Former Call Girl Countersues David Beckham

So former call girl Irma Nicki was the one who made the initial claim to In Touch Weekly that she had a one-night stand with David Beckham. A second call girl who reportedly was present supported theses claims. David sued for libel. Now Irma is countersuing David, claiming she’s telling the truth, reports E! News.

“The former call girl who was sent to the hospital earlier this week as a result of the hounding she received at the hands of David Beckham and his legal team has struck back,” their statement began.

Without specifically mentioning any affair or the In Touch report, they claim that Nici did “tell the truth to the press” and that should keep her from being targeted in a lawsuit.

“California law does not allow public figures like David Beckham to stifle free speech. Maybe he didn’t live here in Los Angeles long enough to learn how precious we here consider our rights to tell the truth in print,” says Jensen.

“Beckham must have confused American law with the law back in his home country, where there isn’t a such a sacred respect for free speech.”

Ouch. Here’s what I’m wondering: if there isn’t a tape or text messages or some other confirmation (and no one’s mentioned anything like that), how can this ever be more than a “she-said, he-said” story? Well, the lawyers, at least, are sure to make a lot of money off this whole mess.

David Beckam says he never had sex with a high-priced call girl. The same applies to a family friend.

In divorce documents between Shery Shabani and her husband, it's been revealed that this jewelry designer's much worse half once "threatened to kill" her and told police officers, responding to the scene of a domestic dispute, that his wife "f--ked' David Beckham.""

Shabani has been friends with the Beckhams for years.

David Beckham often scores on the soccer pitch... but never away from it, with anyone not named Victoria, he swears!

Because this claim has been made public, the soccer star was forced to respond through his rep, who told E! News that his client has his eye on the ball... literally!

"As with another recent story, this is another tale full of fantasy. On a serious note, David is naturally focused on the important game against Chivas this Sunday."

Shabani is also on record, saying of this story: "There is absolutely no truth to the rumors regarding my relationship with David Beckham. I consider both David and Victoria friends and wish them all the best."

She recently filed for a restraining order against her soon-to-be ex.

David Beckham is already a soccer star and now he wants to add restaurant owner to his resume. His rep is denying the rumor, but sources say that he'd like to open a place and name it Queen Vic, after Victoria Beckham, of course. That's so sweet!

It would be a joint venture with celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, and have an English menu.

“He wants pie and mash, fish and chips and even chicken in a basket on the menu, just like the meals he eats when he’s in the UK.”
